2. I much prefer Jimmy Smith playing in a quartet for Blue Note than the big band stuff he was doing at the same time for Verve. A good mix of Smith originals, jazz classics, and even a shake-up of the traditional "When the Saints Go Marching In". Overall, a solid album all the way through.
